What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that keeps small pieces of data on your device; unlike cookies, it is not sent to our servers with each request. We refer to both as "cookies" on this page.
Essential storage is needed for the site to work as you expect and does not require consent. Optional cookies, such as analytics and live chat, are set only if you agree.
Cookies we use
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| nx-theme-v2 | Nexapp (first party) | Remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme | Essential | Until you clear site data | Local storage |
| nx-consent-v1 | Nexapp (first party) | Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask on every page | Essential | Until you clear site data or change your choice | Local storage |
| _ga | Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) | Distinguishes visitors to count visits and measure site use | Analytics (optional) | 2 years | First-party cookie |
| ga* | Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) | Keeps the state of your current analytics session | Analytics (optional) | 2 years | First-party cookie |
| cw_conversation | Chatwoot (self-hosted by Nexapp) | Keeps your live chat conversation open across pages and visits | Live chat (optional) | 1 year | First-party cookie |
| cw_user_* | Chatwoot (self-hosted by Nexapp) | Remembers your contact details if the chat identifies you | Live chat (optional) | Up to 1 year | First-party cookie |
Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Data it collects may be processed by Google outside India. Chatwoot is hosted by Nexapp.
Your choices and how to change them
When you first visit, a banner asks you to choose:
- Essential only: no analytics and no live chat.
- Allow chat: live chat is available; no analytics.
- Accept all: analytics and live chat.
Nothing optional loads until you choose. You can change your mind at any time, and withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it:
The same Cookie settings link is in the footer of every page. If you withdraw consent, optional scripts stop loading from your next page view. Cookies they already set remain in your browser until they expire or you delete them, so you may also want to clear them in your browser settings.
Controlling cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking essential storage means the site will not remember your theme or your cookie choice, so the banner will appear again. Guidance is available from your browser's help pages (Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari).
Third-party links and embeds
Links to WhatsApp, LinkedIn, X and YouTube take you to those services, which set their own cookies under their own policies once you visit them. We do not load third-party embeds that set cookies before you consent. Videos load only when you press play, from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com); nothing is requested from YouTube before then.
