Data and app protection
Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
Give users access to applications, not to the network, and check the device every time.
Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) connects users to specific applications after checking who they are and the state of their device. Nexapp ZTNA replaces broad VPN access with app-by-app policy, passkey sign-in and device posture checks, through one InstaAccess client.
What it does
A VPN puts a remote user on the network. Once connected, that user, or an attacker with their password, can reach far more than the job needs. Private apps sit behind a VPN gateway exposed to the internet, and every contractor account adds risk. Zero Trust Network Access turns this round. Each request is checked against identity and device posture, and the user reaches only the named application, not the network behind it. Access is narrow by design, which limits what a stolen credential can do.
How it works in Nexapp
Identity with passkeys
Users sign in with phishing-resistant passkeys, and access is decided per user and group.
Device posture
Device posture is checked before access and during the session, so a device that falls out of policy loses access.
One client for every access type
The InstaAccess client supports ZTNA/SSE, SSL VPN and IPsec VPN, so you can migrate app by app without running two clients.
Post-quantum sessions
Connections use post-quantum TLS 1.3 and hybrid ML-KEM key exchange, protecting sessions against harvest-now, decrypt-later attacks.
Where teams use it
VPN replacement at a bank
Staff working remotely reach core applications app by app, and the old VPN is retired in stages.
Third-party access
Vendors and auditors reach the one application they support, without seeing the rest of the network.
Acquisitions and new entities
A business group gives staff of a newly acquired company access to shared applications before the two networks are joined.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between ZTNA and VPN?
A VPN connects a user to the network.
ZTNA connects a user to a specific application after checking identity and device posture, which limits what a stolen credential can reach.
Can we keep our VPN during migration?
Yes. The InstaAccess client supports SSL VPN and IPsec VPN as well as ZTNA, so you can move applications to ZTNA one at a time.
How does ZTNA help with RBI and CERT-In?
App-level access and access logs support the access-control expectations in RBI's Directions of 31 July 2026, and help you meet CERT-In incident-reporting and log obligations.
